Iron Gate Kitchen is seeking a Front of House team member to join us on a casual basis, with a strong focus on Saturday and Sunday shifts, plus the occasional Friday evening. This role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, seamless service.

Set within Iron Gate Estate, a working winery, cellar door, and vineyard, Iron Gate Kitchen is an Iberian-inspired restaurant offering a relaxed, rustic take on Mediterranean dining. The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal produce and bold Iberian flavours, guided by wood, smoke, fire, and the grill. Expect flame-charred meats, smoky seafood, vibrant sides, and classic desserts — all designed for long, leisurely afternoons in wine country. The venue seats up to 120 guests and offers a warm, welcoming environment for both locals and visitors.

The Role
As a Front of House Casual, you play a key role in shaping the guest experience at Iron Gate Kitchen. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and leaves with a lasting positive impression.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and welcoming guests with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Taking orders and delivering food and beverages across breakfast, lunch, and Friday dinner services
• Sharing knowledge of our Iberian-inspired menu, wine offerings, and daily specials
• Assisting with FOH operations including table set-up and pack-down, cleanliness, and service flow
• Supporting weddings, private functions, and special events as required
• Working closely with the kitchen and FOH team to deliver a seamless, premium-casual dining experience
• Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and RSA requirements
