2023 Semillon PRIMERA
Semillon is a Hunter Valley staple variety, developing from a sometimes-shy citrus style when young to toasty, fig, and melon jam characteristics with at least 5 years maturation.
Our 2023 version was harvested early to retain freshness and acid levels. It is light straw in colour, with tints of green. The bouquet has aromas of citrus bud, lemon verbena and lime peel and the palate reflect the citrus theme with citrus flavours (think lemon ice blocks) and a drying acid finish.
Great with oysters and seafood, it also complements salads and charcuterie plates.
