2023 Chardonnay PRIMERA
This is the latest version of our range of Hunter Valley Chardonnays and considered one of our best.
Our winemaking team’s favourite white variety, the wine is the epitome of clarity of vision with respect to varietal characteristics of traditional Hunter Valley Chardonnay, precise and poised while still being accessible.
The wine is light, straw green in colour with aromas of peach, mango, gardenia, hints of struck flint and toast, nutmeal, and vanillin notes from new barrel maturation. The palate is rich and flavoursome with peach yoghurt and nougat and vanillin, baked-apple turnover characters, and a refreshing acid finish that frames the wine.
A multi-faceted wine that would pair well with chicken dishes, pasta, and shellfish
