A blend of Hilltops and Hunter Valley fruit, with the Cabernet coming from Hilltops and the Shiraz from the Hunter Valley.
A deep, blood red wine from a drought year, this powerful wine is our flagship wine.
It exhibits complex aromas of cassis, cherries, prunes, tar, pepper and some dark chocolate notes from oak maturation, while the palate is just as interesting. The full-bodied palate has flavours of cherries, earth, black pepper and mocha with a firm, warm tannin finish.
Pairs well with steak, roast meats, and rich pasta dishes.
