2021 Reserve Shiraz
After a few years of drought and extremely hot weather, the 2021 vintage presented cooler and wetter conditions for the ripening period. The fruit ripened slower than previous years which has resulted in a wine of power, complexity and finesse.
Ruby red in colour, the wine has aromatics of plum, pepper, savoury spices, earth and a balanced lick of vanillin oak from barrel maturation. The palate is mid-weight and plush, with an amalgam of juicy plum, mulberry, and cherry flavours and a soft tannin and oak finish.
This wine will pair well with any red meat dish with a mushroom sauce and accompanied by grilled or baked vegetables.
