2023 Primera Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine is really starting to come into its own and is a blend of wine made from fruit grown in the Hilltops, Orange and Mudgee regions. Deep blood-red in colour, the wine possesses a bouquet of cassis, black cherry, varietal pyrazine notes, mint, dark chocolate and vanillin lift from oak maturation. The palate is medium bodied, rich and round in mouthfeel with flavours of cherry, blackberry, and cola with a soft drying oak and tannin finish. A characterful wine that would pair well with dishes such as bolognaise pasta, duck, lamb or beef dishes.
