2023 Primera Shiraz Touriga
This wine is an exciting example of the synergy that blending can provide. Dark purple/red in colour, the Shiraz component provides savoury cherry plum and white pepper aromas while the Touriga provides exuberant notes of blackberry and violets framed by a background of supporting oak.
The medium-weight palate is primarily fruit driven, with flavours of mulberry, blackberry, cola and savoury cherry. The wine finishes with soft, drying tannins and coconut/mocha flavours from oak maturation.
It will pair well with sauced lamb and beef dishes, barbecued meats or your favourite cheese.
