2024 Chardonnay PRIMERA
A warm year in the Hunter has produced a Chardonnay wine from the riper spectrum of
styles.
Light straw in colour, the bouquet is redolent with aromas of peach, pear, melon, doughy,
yeast- like lees and vanillin and lactone wood notes from barrel fermentation. The mid
weight palate delivers the same, with rich peach and melon fruit flavours and a balanced
oak and acid finish.
Great with pork, this wine will also complement flatbreads, fish, and shellfish dishes.
