2024 Verdelho
Verdelho is a firm favourite with our club members, and it’s easy to see why. The natural fruit expression of the variety makes an attractive and satisfying white wine that pairs with most food and occasions. This wine is a blend of Upper Hunter fruit and fruit from our home vineyard and is an exuberant example of the great 2024 vintage conditions experienced.
Pale straw in colour with green tinges, the wine has fruit salad aromas of pineapple, green apple, citrus and green mango. The palate is of medium weight with fresh, tropical flavours such as mango, peach, and pineapple with a sherbet acid finish.
Great with spicy Asian cuisine, this wine will also complement salmon fillets or tuna steaks.
