2026 Primera Semillon
Semillon is one of the varieties that the Hunter Valley is famous for, and this wine was made from typically early harvested fruit to retain freshness and the crisp acid spine so synonymous with this variety. This vintage has yielded a wine with light, quartz-green colour with aromas of citrus, lemon verbena, and green apple, and possesses a lemon-lime sherbet-like palate with a cleansing, dry acid finish. The wine’s structure means it will mature and reward well in the medium term with careful cellaring. A great match with creamy pasta, this wine will also complement seafood and chicken dishes or served as an excellent aperitif.
