Set the scene for an intimate Valentine’s celebration with this Spanish-inspired flatbread, topped with rich manchego, smoky chorizo, and roasted red peppers. Paired with our 2023 Rosé, it’s the perfect combination of indulgence and ease—ideal for a cozy night in.
The Recipe: Spanish-Inspired Flatbread with Manchego & Chorizo
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- ¼ cup manchego cheese, grated
- ½ small Spanish chorizo, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup roasted red peppers, sliced
- ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ tbsp honey
- Handful of fresh basil or rocket
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- Pinch of sea salt & cracked black pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Place flatbreads on a baking tray. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika.
- Top with chorizo, manchego, red onion, and roasted red peppers.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with honey and top with fresh basil or rocket.
- Serve warm with a chilled glass of 2023 Rosé.
